Mercure Algeciras

Stopped over on my way to Morocco - hotel is probably one of the best available, underground secure parking, room service - pizza was nice and tasty, access to use the gym, I was upgraded to a suite which was great, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. Receptionist was decent, breakfast was filling and plenty of choice - those reviews stating the breakfast was terrible must have triggered change because there were almost too many options available. Smoothies, juices, different types of breads, cereals, fruits, egg, cheese etc - not sure what more you can expect for 10 euros.

the room with a great layout is comfortable and spacious, a great modern gym is available until 12 midnight, friendly staff, lots of free parking in the area on the street. If needed, there is a not too expensive underground parking. It is located close to a modern embankment pleasant for promenade

It has a king size bed, water temperature & pressure for shower was perfect. There was a little kettle and a mini bar, with a 1.5l bottle of water. Easy to access and not far from city centre. Breakfast had a lot variety however decaf coffee from the machine was just water.

When I'm.im Algeciras I always stay here. very good staff all through. especially Irene on reception. Always smiling and willing to help.if needed. the beds are great comfortable. it's quiet and very clean. the rooms are airy and modern and very spacious. I use it as a base for Gibraltar and my businesses there. all in all amazing value for money.

The hotel is clean and stuff is friendly. They ordered taxi to us. Location is peaceful. To city center is approximately one km, harbour 2 km. Taxi to Gibraltar was approx. 30 euros. There is a restaurant where to eat if you come late to the hotel.
